End of the School Year Wrap-Up 2008-09

This school was a very successful year in Pikesville High School Athletics. Starting with the football teams unforgetable run in the State Playoffs, to the Lacrosse team's State Championship.
This was also a year of firsts. Our Softball team won the Schools first ever Regional Championship, and we will have the first ever Softball banner hanging in the Gym next year. The Baseball team made its deepest run in the State Playoffs in school history.
Our Lacrosse program is as always, dominent. The Girls team made a run in the Playoffs once again. As we all know, the Boys Lacrosse Team won the State 1A/2A Championship, defeating Queen Anne's.
The Tennis team once again won the region and sent many athletes to the State Tournament in College Park. Paul Burgin finished 2nd in the State in the Singles Competition.
Overall, this year was one of the best in Pikesville High School History. The Class of 2009 will be missed, your school spirit and Athletism will be missed. For all of us at Panther's Post, we wish you good luck next year at College.
